The property known as Knapethorne is located adjacent to The George Moore Memorial Hall. A few years ago the property distant from the road was demolished and a new large modern property was constructed in its place whilst the cottage next to the road was modernised by Lattimer Builders based at Roseacre in Mealsgate.
